It should be noted that this feature is only available with JAWS version 15 and newer.

Hi Everyone,

I don't know if all of you have heard of the JAWS speech history. I just
heard of it the other day. With the JAWS speech history you can copy and
paste what JAWS speaks. For example it you have a message or an error
message come up you can go to the JAWS speech history and copy it and paste it into an email. Here is how you do it. If you want to copy something which
was recently spoken like an error message or something like that, just use
the layered keystroke Jaws Key+Spacebar followed by "H" for "history".

This will bring up the "Speech History" and all Jaws has recently spoken is
displayed in a virtual viewer

You can use Control+End to go to the bottom of the virtual viewer as
whatever was said last will be listed at the bottom.

If you end up with a lot of stuff in the speech history you can use the
layered keystroke Jaws Key+Spacebar followed by Shift+H to clear the virtual
viewer containing this speech history.
