Tom,

Try focusing on the unopened Excel document file and right clicking, then selecting properties. Under the General tab, tab down to see if you find an item that says "Unblock". If you do, press enter on this, then tab back around and press enter on Apply, then again on the OK button. This will take that particular document out of protected view. I would have to check into doing across all Excell documents that you rec eive. If AI find this, I will let you know.

i wrote earlier on how to take ms word, 2010 out of protected view,
which i did, but the same steps didn't work with excell 2010. i opened
excell, atl + f for file, hit options, but there is no protected view
listed
