So far as they told you Intuit was truthful. There is little difference
between 2013, 2014, & 2015 for a screen reader. The difference comes with
2015 and the scripts.
Quicken is the petulent little brother of QuickBooks. QuickBooks will
download transactions from your bank and place them into a holding folder
while you sort them out and then you can import what you want into your
Company File, pretty much like Quicken.
Use the F1 key for help and tab over until you hear SEARCH. Like Google or
any other search engine you must figure out the best syntax for searching.
Less is better. I find that a good Google search with QuickBooks as the
first word may even work better and most of the help is from Intuit sites.
In Google type "quickbooks keyboard shortcuts". I found 2 of the first 3 to
be good sites with lists of keyboard shortcuts. Learn the ones you use the
most and they will make life with QuickBooks a lot easier.

Called intuite and 14, they say has no changes for screen users it how it
functions.. but,
How well does Quick books do at your personal/household banking? I started
settting it up last night, but the bit I have touched on, definitely a
business register and wonder how well it will do for my personal bank record
keeping and synching w/bank etc.

I have never liked Quicken and for the most part it is very cranky with
JAWS. With that said QuickBooks 14 may not be much better.
However, I am using QuickBooks 15 with JAWS 16 and the My Blind Spot scripts
and it works very nicely.
