I don't think you would have any issues going from win 8 to 8.1. Not
sure about going from Win 8 to 10.

Thanks
I was just wondering because when I first got my new computer it came
with windows 8.0 and I had a free update to windows 8.1 that is why I
wanted to know.
thanks again for the information.
Re: [JAWS-Users] [EXTERNAL] drivers
They might if they come included in Windows, but if they are drivers
that were installed when you installed a device like a printer, and if
they came from the printer manufacturer, you would have to go to the
printer manufacturer's web site, or to some other site that offers
drivers, and download and install updated drivers. When it comes to
drivers, it is best to obtain updates from the manufacturer of the
device that the driver is being used for. If the device is working well,
it is not always necessary to update the driver just because one is
available. If you upgrade Windows itself you may have to obtain updated
device drivers.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [JAWS-Users] drivers

Hi all,
some of you may think this question is a bit silly but I have to ask it.
do the drivers on a windows 8.1 64 bit machine update automatically
through the windows update or do I have to update the drivers manually?
Thanks in advance
