Hi Kevin,
If the link in the e-mail shows as an actual URL,
try placing the cursor on the first character, usually H, and then pressing
enter.

HTH,
Rick Justice

Tomorrow's another day, another way!
and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved!

nada, when clicking on a hyper link in an email it's still like the computer
is thinking about performing the action. it just pauses.

hi Kevin:
So am I.
I am using WLM 2012, latest.
No issues, must be settings, its not windows 10.
I just helped some one download and install and set up a WLM account with no
issues, on windows 10.
There is a setting interfering with this somewhere.
Check this in personalization, then start.
Show recently opened items and jump list on start or the taskbar, uncheck
this item.
See if that makes a difference.
I have this unchecked on my computer.

What email client are you using.
Also some settings may effect this issue.

ok ctrl+o works but that still doesn't answer why email or other links from
programs don't work!

I’m running windows 10 and IE 11 is my default browser
I’m having problems with the command alt+D to open a web page directly
this all started after I upgraded, the first time I upgraded IE did not work
at all. then I decided to run the windows 10 upgrade again this time
keeping nothing of windows 7
this time IE works but it won’t open email links or open links with alt+D.
resetting IE settings is not a fix from what I’ve heard on the microsoft
help forum.
anyone else having a problem similar?
Email is golden!!!
