hybernation is prone to failing more often than sleep, although it is
safer than sleep when leaving the computer for an extended amount of time.
I would close any open programs, unless the program is running a
process, like a cleanup, and letting the computer do it's thing. chances
are, it will go to sleep after the process is finished, in which, you'd
have to press any key to wake the computer up.
