Hi Try navigating to one of the html files you want to open, but don't press enter to open it. Press the applications key or shift+f10 to bring up the context menu. Arrow down to the open with submenu and press right arrow to open it. In this submenu, you will find several programs that can be used to open the file. Press enter on one of them to open the file in that program. Also there should be an option to choose the default program to always open html files with a specific program so you won't have to use the open with menu all the time.

Hi, When I try to open an HTML file a couple of days ago, it asked me how I wanted to do it, and I chose word without thinking, now it's saying that it's missing a component for me to be able to do that. I want to change it back to set it so it will open and either Firefox Internet Explorer, how do I do that? I am running the latest version of jaws, and have a Windows 8.1 laptop.
