You were probably running JAWS from the system tray. Go to the options menu
and then to basics. Check the box that says "run JAWS from system tray" and
use the space bar to check it. Then tab to ok and press enter. You will need
to restart JAWS for the setting to work. Now when you press insert J, you
will go right to the menu.

Hi.

This is no different than previous versions, you can't tab around
in the
jaws window like you can with window-eyes and cobra and narrator.

In the jaws home use window, use the alt key to go to the menu
bar. You
should be able to get the options menu from there. Likely it'll
be the
first menu you get, so you ought to be able to press alt, and
then press
enter to open the options menu. Is this what you're looking for?
