ok thanks, but it's not necessary to do this to get to the desktop?
If someone wasn't concerned about logging into their computer I mean.

  Personal preference.
When set up correctly in w-10.
You only have to, type in four numbers at your pin log-in, and wait to go to
  your desktop.
No need of typing in a long password, with capital letters, and pressing the
  enter key.
All is still remembered for signing into Microsoft and ETC.
It is for your convenience, just to make it easier to sign into your
  personal computer.

Set Up a PIN instead of a password to sign into w-10

Here is how you, create a four-digit PIN associated with your user account
  log-in on w-10.

    1. Windows key+I, for settings.

    2. Right arrow 4 times to, Account, press enter.

    3. Down arrow to, Sign-in options, press enter.

    4. Tab to the, Add Button, press enter.

    5. Press the Control key, to silence Jaws, You are asked to, Verify your
account, Tab to the password edit field, type in your password, the one you
use to sign-in to your computer.

    6. Press enter on, Sign-in, press Control key, to silence Jaws.

    7. You may need to Tab and Shift+Tab to find the pin edit field, Type in a
four digit number pin, Tab one time, confirm pin by typing it again.

    8. Tab to the OK button, press enter.

    9. Press ALT+f4, to close settings.

    10. Restart your computer.

    11. You should be on, Sign-in Options, press enter, type just your 4-digit
pin and wait, do not press enter here. If you are not on sign-in options,
when your computer restarts, just tab or Shift+tab too It, press enter, type
in just your 4-digit pin and wait, if you need to confirm, press Spacebar.

You will come up on your desktop.

    12. The next time you restart your computer, you will hear:

Pin sign-in, Just type in your 4-digit pin number and wait, you will be
  loaded on to your desktop.

This is a very quick and snappy way of logging into your w-10 computer
  system.

    A Ballast for My Soul

Life is like a stormy sea
    That tosses to and fro,
But God's Word will ever be
    A ballast for my soul.

By its truth I'll be held fast
    Till I reach heaven's shore
Where I will be home at last
And sail life's sea no more!
