Would a jaws repair fix this? I'm hoping to avoid the uninstall and
reinstall if I can.

True but it's to late since I didn't do that.

I reassigned the jaws key f12 to jaws key backspace. The keystroke
didn't work so now I want to restore defaults. I also reassigned
another keystroke a while back and don't remember the actual original
jaws key assignment. So, again I want to restore jaws defaults.
