As you all are well aware that windows defender is the improved version of
Microsoft Security essential in windows 10.
One or two day ago, a member of this mailing list wrote that he cannot see
PC status: protected to his system tray.
Yes you are right that after rebooting the system that item use to be
vanished but there is a trick of getting it back to the system tray.
For the sake of it, do the following.
1.
Press window+x, down erro until control panel.
2.
Press shift tab 5 times until windows defender press enter.
3.
Press tab until scan now button.
4.
After completion of scanning of your system press alt+f4.
Now you'll see your required item to the top of your system tray which is,
PC status: protected.
