I did exactly that but activate searchbox kept getting changed. Then as I stated when I deleted the insert f12 keystroke the activate searchbox keystroke got removed and I now want to get it back. The insert f12 was unchanged.

Lenny,

I use the Ctrl+F command in the Keyboard Manager to first find the keystroke
I want to change. So do a Ctrl+F then press Insert+F12 and press enter. It
should land you on the Say System Time keystroke script. Then you want to do
a Ctrl+H to change it and then you can type some other key combination that
suits your fancy. Follow the dialog prompts to complete the change and that
should do it.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] keyboard manager mistake

I am almost embarrassed to even bring this to your attention. I fixed
the activate searchbox (ctrl e) back to its original state. What I was
really trying to do was modify insert f12. However, for some reason
activate searchbox keystroke kept getting modified and not insert f12
for some reason. Anyway I thought if I deleted the insert f12 keystroke
then perhaps I would be able to add the keystroke I wanted. But, all I
wound up doing was to delete the activate searchbox keystroke. 1. How do
I get it back in the list? 2. Why isn't the insert f12 being changed
when I add the keystroke insted of activate searchbox?
