I have pop3 on my computer and imap on my phone and it seems that the pop
folder structure can be altered in the computer email program. I am using
WLM 2011. The imap folder structure is the same as that on the original
gmail account as it appears on the web. To make changes in the imap folder
structure, at least on gmail, I have to do it on the internet by signing
into my gmail account and setting up filters and folders, etc.

Running Windows 7 64 bit Pro, Outlook Express, & Jaws 16. I created an IMAP
account in OE & now I have both POP3 & IMAP folders showing for my mb69mach1
identity but, they do not have the same folder structure. I have folders in
POP3 that are not in the IMAP & folders in IMAP that are not in POP3.
Am I supposed to delete 1 of the accounts? I'm assuming I should remove the
POP3 account but, can I then create / remove folders in the IMAP account the
way I normally would in OE & POP3? Also, how in the hell do you delete
messages in the IMAP folders? LOL LOL I don't need messages saved on the
server forever! We use Charter for our ISP & accessing Charter's WebMail to
delete messages is impossible, for me anyways!
Am I going about this all wrong? If there is another way I should be going
about switching to IMAP using OE would someone please inform me on how to do
it? All help will be greatly accepted & what few hairs I have left will be
very appreciative! LOL LOL
