Kurt, another way to append an attachment to an email is to place your cursor on the name of the document, before it is opened, to select it, hit your control key and then c to copy that document to the clipboard, go back to your email and hit control v to insert the attachment in your email. If you shift tab, you will hear that your attachment has been inserted right between the subject and body of your email.

Then arrow across to the Insert tab. Now, tab down to the "Attach File" item and press enter on this. You will be given the opportunity to type in the path to the file, or browse to the file and attach it to the message. The applications key is not used for this function any longer. To save an attachment, open the File menu, Alt + F, and arrow to the Save sub- menu, right arrow, and then down to save attachment, and press enter to see the options to save the attachments. You can save them one at a time, or select them all and save all at once. Hope this helps., Mike [email protected] -----Original Message----- From: Kurt Miller Sent: Tuesday, October 20, 2015 5:35 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] More about application menu Hi, I was just writing an email and misspelled a word. I pressed the applications key to get the right spelling and it just told me applications again like the attachment but did not give me anything at all. Just a little more info about the problem in case this helps at all.
