 Have more coffee, now. Neil

Yes, as far as I know.
But if you turn this off, you may change how things display for you.
For example, Weather, some Apps like weather use your location, to give you
local information.
Same with Sports, News and others.
So, if you don't care about those things, then I guess you can turn this
off.
I have mine, turned on, so that I get relevant local information.
I hope this answers your question.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Win 10 privacy settings

Hello Jim and Others:

I copied below how to turn off the general settings for apps.

Will turning this off mean that one does not have to go any further to turn
off other app sharing?

Neil

Begin Jim instructions on privacy:

Settings, Privacy, Part 8 of 9.

***Remember use Insert key+Tab, to make Jaws repeat just the Tab control and
its current setting, while in the Settings area of w-10.

Remember the first item of a sub category is already selected when pressing
Enter on one of the 9 main categories, you can begin tabbing across without
pressing Enter.

**Privacy.

Press Windows key+I, for Settings.

Right arrow to Privacy, press enter.

The first item here is, General, you do not have to press Enter, just Tab
across.

1. *General.

Tab one time and Jaws will say:

Change privacy options, let Apps use my advertising ID for experiences
across Apps, turning this off will reset your ID Button.

Pressing Insert key+Tab, on this same Tab, Jaws will say:

Let Apps use my advertising ID for experiences across Apps, Turning this off
will reset your ID Button.

***Remember button means off, button checked means on.

Consider the snow flakes

Consider the snow flakes, as they fall, bright and beautiful one and all.
Watch the snowflakes as they fall, all are different, large and small Look
at the snowflakes as they fall, they are One of God's treasures, created for
all.
Consider Him, as the blizzard blows, let Him warm your heart, and give Him
your soul.
Take a walk with Him daily in the snow, pray and meditate on Him whenever
you go.
Remember, God loves you and I, trust in His salvation before you die.
