Hi, I am not sure why you would be pressing insert q. To read a word document use arrow keys or to say all, press insert down arrow. For powerpoint, you have to have the slide show in active view by pressing f5 first. Then use arrow keys to read the first slide. To read subsequent slides, use page downand to return back to the previous slide, use page up.
