FYI although you are almost correct, the fact is when you upgrade to 10 your product key changes from the one you had in 7.

there is no activation required if not clean installing. The windows 10
update/upgrade uses your activation key from your previous OS

Do you know if there was a complete installation of W10? I am just
interested. I wonder if there has to be some sort of activation after W10
is installed through the windows updates.

Apparently, my update settings weren't set correctly. Awhile back W10
downloaded on my Windows 7 system. I have enough disc space, so as of now
it's just sitting there.

I think the darn W 10 started installing on my W 7 laptop the other day.
I had to get hubby to help me cancel it. I now have it hidden hopefully.

Not only is it wrong for MS to force Windows 10 or any other OS , for

of JAWS earlier than JAWS 16. It could be a real mess.

I reviewed this article, personally I think it is wrong for them to
force it on people.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have
evolved from a simpler system that worked perfectly.

If you’re not ready yet for Windows 10, you need to read this article:

You don't have to be crazy to run a list like this, but it does help.
