Hello Gang: Currently using Windows 7 and latest JAWS 16.
I have updates set to automatically download. So, I wanted to check to see what updates had downloaded. So, I struck the windows key. In the search box, I typed: check for updates. I struck enter, and was faced with a "Get started button." Dumb me, I thought it meant get started looking at the updates that had been automatically installed. For some reason, at some point, I rooted jaws to the pc. Don't remember why. I discovered that windows 10 was being downloaded. Found and selected the stop download button. So, it was that easy to screw up, and do something for which I am not ready!! For those as dense as I am and not too tech savvy, be careful. I went back and selected something other than "download automatically." Probably, "download but let me decide what to install." I am wandering around in unfamiliar territory.
