Insert+F will provide you with a lot of attribute information. I think it
includes the color of the text and the background. I am not aware of a way
to get JAWS to automatically announce colors, but I have not played around
with schemes.

Tom,
I know that if you press the insert key plus the 5 on the number row it will
tell you the print color on what color the background is. As for JAWS
announcing it automatically when you go to the cell, I don't think it will
do that but if I'm wrong, please someone correct me.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] coloured cells in excel

Hi, I have an excel spreadsheet. Some of the cells are different colours.
These cells are significant.
Can I get jaws to announce the colours as I move through the spreadsheet? I
have tried the colour scheme but it does not seem to do the job.
I have jaws 16 and win 7 and excel 2010
