I noticed when I visit that site from facebook, it causes the same behavior so I suppressed all refreshes for all webpages. When I visited the site from the favorites as of one reading, it was fine, but after visiting the page from my facebook feed, it repeated the previous behavior. Now that I suppressed all refreshes, let's see if it will continue. Thanks to Steve, Kurt and Rick and anyone else who responded. Take care.

I have the preview handlers not showing, and the preview pane is off, which has been for a while now but that is not the solution commonly suggested for IE issues like this. I've put up with it for about a month now but it's driving me bonkers lol. I wonder what's causing it to freeze?
