Hello, everyone. I feel the need to chime in here on this thread.
In defense of Tom, I have rolled back to Internet Explorer 10, due to what seemed to be an unsolvable problem that I encountered with IE 11 and Jaws 16 this past summer. IE 11 was installed on my Windows 7 desktop with a Windows update, and I suddenly found that I could not enter information into form field edit boxes. I worked with a very experienced Jaws user, with FS Tech Support, and with the Microsoft Accessibility Hotline on the issue, but we could never solve the problem. My only solution was to roll back to IE 10, and everything worked fine once again. I fully realize that I am going to have to do something about this issue at some point, when IE 10 is no longer supported, but for right now, I'm not sure what that will be. For now, I'm sticking with IE 10, and am using Firefox as my alternate browser.
