Mike, I don't have any other security programs, I think VIS is enough.
when I check for updates in VIPRE's notification icon, I get the same
"I'm up to date" message.
I'll get around to upgrading this afternoon if I don't get delayed

Some of thesse, like Malware Bytes, can be reinstalled after Vipre is

the set up with you after the software is installed. There really is not
that much to it. The biggest thing is setting up the schedules that you
want the software to run its scans on. Let me know what you decide to
do, then we can take it from there. If you are unprotected right now,
then I would enable Windows Defender to get you through until Vipre is
installed properly.

the version is still 7.0.6.2.
according to a support article, it says to uninstall first, but I think
this applies to having other security products like Norton, McAfee, etc?
