I am using windows 8.1 and every time I enter the link when there is an
update available and then tab to the link to view more information I get
the window saying recover web page so I try and it just comes back
so I am left to decide for myself.or Google the updateand when I do that
I never understand what they are talking about.
so I guess if it ever does happen I will have to call the microsoft
accessibility help desk
Re: [JAWS-Users] if you are not ready for windows 10 beware of windows
update
Updates are divided (in Win7 at least) between important and
recommended. I never download recommended because I chinstruct Windows
to check for updates
and let me decide whether to download and install. If the Win 10
install is an important upgrade, then you'd have to go into the details
of each upgrade
that is connected to the operating system, not to your other apps like
Word, Defender, etc. There is a link to more information. The process
can be enlightening
if you care for that kind of detail.
This said, the Win 10 income in the systems tray came as an important
update..I did not scrutinize the important updates. And so I warily
proceed.
