Hi, my name is Eden Kizer, and I've been using Jaws for years but have just
joined the list. Here is my issue. I am an avid braille user and prefer to read
and write in it since I type 200 wpm at least on certain devices. However, the
focus is not one of them because the keys do not seem to spring back in time,
and my letters flow into one another. I do not have this issue with the braille
sense, but unfortunately, from what I can deduct, it is super-limited in what
you can do. Has anyone been able to use a braille sense for much other than
just input of text? My issue is that I do not wish to be going back and forth
between the qwerty computer keyboard and the braille device. I am using a
braille sense U2. Any help is appreciated. You can write offlist so as not to
clutter it. I am aware you can make custom commands, but I've never done this
before so a little nervous about doing that, and plus I'm not sure you can do
the 2-layered commands that the focus uses to do the modifier key
s plus whatever goes with them. They definitely do not seem to work. Thank you.
