Hi, I had to to have sighted help as it took four hours for windows to update completely. Once done it was easy as as soon as you plugged it into the HDMI video you not only received video you had immediate sound. So to then run JAWS exe was easily done as once the exe was started the setup took over.
Hopeing to give this little unit a good testing this week and weekend. robin -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of valiant8086 Sent: December 30, 2015 7:06 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Kangaroo computer and JAWS 17 Hi. It shouldn't have much trouble with that, it does after all have typical tablet-like specs. Someone I know has one just a bit bigger than a USB flash drive that goes directly into the HDMI port, which he hasn't since he can't see the TV. The Cangaroo if I recall rightly is a pretty nice outfit that only just recently released. It has a dock I believe, does it deal fine with being removed from the dock while running and placed back on it again? Since if memory serves it has an internal battery, it'll keep on going while off the dock until you put it back again. I read that the out of box experience setup process for this device had been modified to work more like setting up a smart tv box would and thus is not typical windows setup. Is this so and if so, were you able to do it with Narrator even though?
