F12 Is normally a machine boot menu.

no I believe it is F12, but I could be wrong .  safe mode is only for the 
sighted unless in windows 10 microsoft made it possible to use narrator, which 
is not likely because safe mode doesn't load the sound drivers.

Will the computer come up in safe mode, if I strike the F8 key, shortly after 
the computer begins to come on?  Seems like I heard that somewhere, long ago.
