I have the check for missing attachment already checked but I was just wondering their is one other setting I can try it is the first one under composition under the general tab The one that says forward and has two options on line or attachments mine is on on line I am going to try switching it to attachments and see what happens.
thanks for your help anyway.
Re: [JAWS-Users] how can I forward an email with an attachment in Thunderbird I'm not an aficionado, I don't think there is such a setting to not forward an attachment, but here's something to check:
press the alt for menu bar, t for tools, o for options.
use the up/down arrow keys to find the composition category.
press tab once.
press the right or left arrow keys to find the general tab.
press the tab ke until you get to Check for missing attachments check box, and make sure it is checked.
keep pressing tab until you get to the ok button, and press space bar.
now try sending (forwarding) the attachment if the check box was previously unchecked.

this problem?

Sounds like either your Thunderbird is set to not allow forwarding
attachments, or your recipients email client is not allowing attachments to
come through. Check your settings first. I don't ThunderBird so can't help
you with specifics.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] how can I forward an email with an attachment
inThunderbird

I have this email with an attachment and every time I go to forward it
to a friend the attachment is missing when the recipient gets the e mail.
so my question is how can I forward this email to my friend so that the
attachment stays on the email ?
I am using windows 8.1 and the latest Thunderbird.
thanks in advance
