Could you clarify on Jaws version. You mention 17 twice so
I'm confused. I find the same when opening e documents on
the Prudential site.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem reading pdf documents in web
browsers with JAWS 17

Hello,

I have problems in reading pdf documents on my computer at
work with JAWS 17. When I open a pdf document in Adobe
Reader XI in Internet Explorer or Firefox the accessibility
assistant is not launched. The message that I get is "Open
parent document button". However when I open the same
document from Windows Explorer with JAWS 17 the
accessibility assistant is launched and I can read the
document correctly. Moreover, I can read the same document
with JAWS 15 and 16 and NVDA 2015.4. in Internet Explorer or
Firefox. I'm using Internet Explorer 11 and Mozilla Firefox
42.0 on Windows 7.
Did you have the same expirience with JAWS 17? What could
block the accessibility feature of Adobe reader in browsers?
Is there any option that has to be changed?
Many thanks for your answer.

Kind regards,
Tanja
