Hi Dacia,

Have you tried rebooting to see if that helps?  If you reboot & your system 
comes up running normally, try downloading J17 using the links I provided 
earlier, & running that update installation file from your computer.  Some 
people have good luck updating with the Jaws updater, & others do not.  Or, 
even with your computer acting weird, if you can download the previously 
mentioned installation executable & running it, that might clear up your 
troubles.

Hi, I asked this in a previous email, but thought I'd ask it again here. The 
option to update just came on my computer, so I chose to do so. However, it 
said that it couldn't update the patch. And I hit OK. Once I did that, my 
computer has not let me navigate things. It talks, and will let me hit 
letters, but it's not navigating to anything on my computer. Any 
suggestions? Should I uninstall it completely and reinstall just the 
original Joss 17 cd I got in not do the updates?
