Dear respected Steave, the matter of fact is that I'm from Pakistan trying
to provide braille books to those visually challenged people who cannot
afford them.
A friend of mine has donated me a machine called index braille box V4 with
that machine software's DBT 11.2 came free of cost.
When I updated it with 11.3, I have begun to face issues.
In our school days, we've learnt dots 2 3 5 in the beginning as "to" in the
middle "ff" & in the end "exclemation mark.
Dots 3 6 for letter sign COM in the beginning & in the middle whereas in the
end it is hyphen.
Now this software's is not translating as I have learnt braille code in our
school days.
I therefore would like to request you to please help me in this regard.
In this country braille books are generally not available to visually
challenged kids.
I want to help them providing braille books please help me to overcome
software's issues.
I hope that my request will be dealt with sympathetic consideration.
Thanking in anticipations
Your faithful

I hope I don't get slammed for this being off-topic. Inamuddin, you need to
check your translation choice. What you are encountering is the newer
United
English Braille translation. You probably want English American pre-Ueb or
equivalent.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem in duxbury braille translator
Dear Jaws users,
I'd like to let you know that whenever I try to translate a text file into
Duxbury braille translator,
I'm experiencing some issues.
If I write in a text file "He went to the zoo."
According to braille it must translate as "He went dots 235 for to without
space of the as dots 2346" but it is translating as "He went to with space
dots 2346 for the letter sign the"
Please help me in this regard how can I fix it!
