Hello everyone,

First let me introduce myself. My name is Aimee and I am a law Student at
Widener Law Commonwealth. I have been using a Mac and I devices for the past 6
years and now I am having to switch back to Windows and JAWS for school.

Now that I have introduced myself, let me move on to my question. When I used
my Mac, I controlled it primarily with a Braille display and only had to touch
the keyboard for a few commands. I know that it depends on the display
sometimes how much you can control the computer with the display. On the Mac,
I could customize almost all of the commands to be what I wanted them to be.
Can this be done with JAWS? I have a VarioUltra 40. Can I change commands and
assign the majority of the commands to the keystrokes I prefer?
My
Second question is, can I use one of those one-handed computer gaming keyboards
to program the remainder of the commands I couldn't get assigned on the
display?

The reason behind my question is that I think we are looking into a Microsoft
Surface Pro 4 and I would rather not use the keyboard with it and only use the
Braille display and the one-handed computer gaming device to take up less
space.

I greatly appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on these somewhat oddball
questions.
