Hi Faraz,
I went and look on my W10 pc and had a friend look on his and as far as I can 
see to have restore make automatic restore points is on by default. I also went 
and looked at my restore points and I had four of them and one was and 
automatic restore point. So correct me if I am wrong but I believe automatic 
restore in W10 is turned on by default.

hello Steve,

you have to turn on system restore in windows10 first, in order to use it. 
to enable system restore, go to control panel>recovery>system protection and 
turn on the drives you want to create automatic restore points. once, it will 
turn on, your windows will automatically generate restore points.
