Hello Steve: I use maxemail.com to send and receive faxes, you send them as email attachments and receive them the same way. After receiving them, you can either print them for sighted assistance, or scan them with Open Book or similar. They charge $24 for three month with I think 100 outgoing pages per month, I have never exceeded it, and they give you a fax number in the area code of your choice.
