Anna, Haven't tried in many years, but I found that working in the actual graphical screen was not intuitive. However I suggest that you see if the context menu (shift+f10 or the App key) will bring up any ways to do this.
Other than that, I would expect that the only labels we can generate will be row and column headers, and perhaps the sheet name in the workbook -- these would be edited/modified in the underlying data sheet, and not on the actual graphical page.
