There is a free tool that blocks Windows 10 notifications and monitors the
computer for any attempts to change to 10. It's called GWX control panel.
I don't know if anyone has heard of or used it but it did take my windows 10
notifications away. I don't know much about it or what kind of rating or
cautionary measures it may have, but at least for now I feel I need to do
whatever it takes to block this thing.

My grandson just came home from school. He told me that first he kept trying
to x out of the updates for win 10. Last night there was no choice. He also
told me that all of the kids at his school are complaining. Last night all
of their computers automatically updated to win 10. He just left for a while
and later will try and check out all of his other programs. There is
something that is required for school that only works in Google chrome. Just
wonder why software developers make their software strictly dependent on a
specific browser.
