Thanks for that. I seem to have difficulty in finding my way around Google
Drive. We are using it in my Spanish class and getting things to work it an
issue. Do you know where I can get some tutoring and instructions that
works for JAWS users?

Hello Wayne,
I use Google Drive, and also One Drive by Microsoft. I have 15 gigs for free
in One Drive, the same as Google Drive. Google Drive works great with JAWS
if used with IE 11. Freedom Scientific has two free webinars on Google Drive
and Google docs on the training page on the Freedom Scientific web site:
www.freedomscientific.com
The trick to using Google Drive, is to have the virtual cursor turned off
when navigating your list of files and other areas of Google Drive. Also,
there are key commands that are crucial to learn so you can use Google
Drive. I would greatly recommend those two free webinars. Now, for One
Drive, just type in the URL:
www.onedrive.com
once the page comes up, you will have to create an account, then you can
download the One Drive desktop program. You will have to download this since
you use Windows 7. Users of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 already have the One
Drive as a default folder on their computer. Once you install the One Drive
program, you can upload 15 gigs, and it is much easier to use than Google
Drive. One Drive is a lot like Drop Box. I hope that helps and let me know
if you have questions. Have a great one.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Choices for web storage

Hello-

I have a DropBox account with 2 gig of free storage and it is full. Google
has an account with 15 gig of storage for free. It is much harder for me to
move around and work in Google Drive, for example. Is this a JAWS issue or
is DB simply much easier to work with? I am using Windows 7 (with no
desire to change) and JAWS 15. I have later versions if I need them (16 and
17). Are there Google Drive users or users of other web storage sites with
any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

Wayne
