Those are very cool JAWS commands I forgot about.  Thanks.
BTW-Selecting the entire column does not suit for Ed'sexample of only
selecting 8 rows.  In that case that GoTo command seems to be just what the
doctor ordered.

another way, shift+space bar to select the row you're focused in, and 
btw, control+spacebar to select the column you're focused in.
