Mike,

What I'm about to say is vague, but maybe it will point you in a useful
direction. I recall that AOL bought the old Netscape browser, and somehow
Netscape has become intertwined with Firefox. I also vaguely recall having
Firefox problems when I inadvertently installed some AOL add-on or extension on
Firefox. I remedied that situation long ago by either removing or disabling it.
With all that in mind, I just did a Google search with some of these terms.
Perhaps one of the results at this Google page lead to the answer-the first
looks promising:

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Message After Opening Firefox

Hi All,

Whenever I open Firefox Jaws reads, Netscape Dispatch WND. Can anyone tell
me how to get rid of this annoying message? I'm running Windows 7, FF
44..., & Jaws 16. Google is set as my default search engine. Thanks much
Take care.
Mike, Go Dodgers!
