Hi Ed,
I personally think it would be a lot of trouble.
You don't have much ram for one.
You would have to upgrade to w-7 pro first.
Then upgrade to w-10.
I think with the lower prices for w-10 laptops now.
You would be better off buying her a new one with w-10 already installed.
She would not need a large hard drive just to search the web and send email.
You can get one very cheap.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do...
Love God! with your heart, mind, and soul, that you might be blessed
reaching His goal.
Love your Neighbor as you would yourself, God will truly reward you with
good health.
Love God, your neighbor, as you love yourself, you will then be spiritually
balanced with wealth.
Love His Word that proceeds from His lips, then reflect on the heavens where
God sits.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Question on if laptop will run Jaws and W10.
Hi Everyone,
I have and old laptop that use to be my work pc. It has XP Pro on it for an
operating system. Also It has two batteries and they are just like new. It
was never use more than maybe 75 to 100 hours is a guess. I was wondering
what your opinion would be if it would be good enough for my wife to use.
All she does is email, Facebook and does some searching on the web. I want
to put Windows 10 on it and Jaws so I can do maintenance on it. My wife
does not need Jaws. So she would be using it with just Windows 10 so I am
wondering if it would be good enough for that. I know the ram is pretty
low. Here are the spec on the laptop.
Dell Vostro 1720
IntelR Core 2 Duo CPU
T570 @ 2.10GHz
2.09 GHz, 1.96 GB of RAM
Any suggestions and opinions would be appreciated.
Ed
