Like what was said the purpose of the program is for those folks who have some difficulty installing scripts in the proper location. This would probably not be something a guy like you might ever need, but to the computer novice or beginner which ever term you prefer it could come in quite handy.
Quite often people ask on here and other places about how they may install scripts once they download them. This little deal could be the ticket. The spirit has not moved me for quite a while to do an audio recording but this little deal is sparking the germ of an idea this morning. Installing JAWS scripts does not seem to be something I've been missing, nor packaging them in a Zip format. Can either of you give me some more description of where I would use this capability? But I think this would be later because I'm currently develop it day by day, there are something need fixed, and I haven't wrote any documentation for it. You could upload now, but may be, you'll be disturbed by me because of sending new version with bug fixing , or something like that. For self installing script, I don't know how to create in autoit for people who don't use, even don't have any autoit knowledge, but I can create a package which install and compile script on a selected Jaws version using Nullsoft Install system. I'm thinking about add a feature to backup the script before replacing, but didn't write and test. Anyway, cladd to hear from you.
