Hi rick, Changing that combo box to never must have done the trick as my Jaws 17 did not start automatically this morning. I have never had to change that in any other version of Jaws to get Jaws to not start automatically. I have Jaws 17 on my W10 pc and I do not have the combo box set to never and it does not start automatically. So who knows why this has to be set this way on my W7 pc running Jaws 17 but not set that way with Jaws 16 that is still installed.
