Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS Script Install

I'm working on an audio recording of the program today. I didn't like my
first version this morning so with luck this afternoon will prove
better. What is the common feature? I guessed it would install scripts
on all versions at the same time but it didn't work for me at least.

The send to works great, I figured it out right after posting the
message earlier. I guess I should have waited to test it out first, but
life is an on going learning process. I look forward to the backup
feature working properly. Also I agree that there does not seem to be
any need for 32 and 64 bit versions of the program. I've been testing on
64 bit and they both work the same exactly.

Thank you and I should have something posted this afternoon if all goes
according to plan. I feel strongly about this program as to it being
beneficial to the blindness community.

Hi David
1. The send to menu has created by getting current location of Jaws script
install, then create its shortcut in Sent to folder, so you must do it each
time you move the program.
2. I found the reason why you have an empty zip file, and I fixed it. May
be, I'll send you this version tomorrow because there are something need to
be fixed
Once again. Thanks so lot for your featback.

Just tested out the send to feature, all I can say is sweet little
deal. I also noticed a common option in the list of JAWS versions, not
tested it yet, but if it does what I think it will do then that will
be another bonus.

The backup zip file is still empty for some reason. I imagine it is
supposed to backup the scripts if any that are being replaced. I'm
thinking if it turns out to be too much of an issue it could be
removed, your call of course.

This has the potential for being a real boost to folks who have
difficulties in this area.

So if I understand this correctly you can place this installer say in
your
program files and create a send to menu shortcut from within the
program so
that in the future to install a zip file of JAWS scripts all I would
need to
do is hit the applications key, select send to JAWS script install.

Clever if I understand this, please elaborate if you would kind sir.

Don't worry too much, like I said version 2 is working perfectly.
Also I plan on recording another version of the tutorial covering the
added features with luck today some time.

Hi David
Don't know what's wrong in the last version. I'm researching o how
to pass
the zip file in command line, so people can install script using the
Send to
feature, or use other programs to package there script, but haven't
find the
clue yet.

After doing a direct compare of the version from earlier this
morning to
what I received this afternoon I must conclude at this point I favor
the
first option.

They both work but I'm not certain the second version is working the
way it
is expected, probably more testing is needed.

Never the less the earlier version is the offering on the server
right now
since first thing today.
