Thanks for this info. I am not familiar with the Jaws touch cursor. I'll look into it.

JAWS touch support is a little wonky. It, for example, is not as responsive or useful as Voiceover touch is, but it does make some tasks a little quicker to do, e.g. touching the bottom right of your screen to check the time. I'm actually surprised you can even find non-touch computers these days. Another issue I have with JAWS touch support is that, when I rely on it, I've noticed it crashes apps and programs somewhat frequently. In short, it's minimally useful for now, but has a ton of potential in the future, especially if you have something like a Surface. You can use the JAWS touch cursor if you have a touch screen or not, so you can navigate the universal apps with the JAWS touch cursor right from the keyboard. Good luck on finding your new notebook. > > > -----Original Message----- From: Steve > Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2016 4:12 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Touch vs non-touch screen notebook computer > > Huh? > > Whether you want touch or not, I have one here from HP and I dooubt it adds much > to the weight.
