Thanks for this info.  I am not familiar with the Jaws touch cursor.  I'll

I use a Surface with the type keyboard. JAWS touch support is a little
wonky. It, for example, is not as responsive or useful as Voiceover touch
is, but it does make some tasks a little quicker to do, e.g. touching the
bottom right of your screen to check the time. I'm actually surprised you
can even find non-touch computers these days.

Another issue I have with JAWS touch support is that, when I rely on it,
I've noticed it crashes apps and programs somewhat frequently. In short,
it's minimally useful for now, but has a ton of potential in the future,
especially if you have something like a Surface.
