Yes, you need to turn off the store live tile app. Press the windows key,
down arrow to your account, right arrow to the live tile region, use your up
and down arrows and highlight the store tile. Press the application key, go
down to, More sub menu, right arrow one time. Down arrow to turn off live
tile and press enter. If you wish to remove it from the start area all
together, after turning it off. Just highlight it again, press the
application key, go to remove from start, press enter. Also, under the
background apps in the settings area, make sure the store app is turned off.

Does anyone know why the store app is always showing on my Windows list of
running apps invoked with the insert f10 key? Does anyone know how I can
stop this?

I even had Candy Crush showing as an app today.  This is most annoying.
