Hi Did you check that the JAWS dictionary is active? Open the JAWS settings center by pressing JAWSkey+number row 6. Then press control+shift+d to open the default jaws settings. Then Type dictionary in the search field and then tab once to the search result. If the result Use Dictionary is not checked, press space to check it and then tab to OK and press enter.

When I add something to the default dictionary, it is not recognized. I've put in my daughter's married name with the corrected pronunciation but, every time it shows up, it still says it wrong. I have checked and it's in the list of corrected pronunciations but, it isn't being used. I've rebooted, deleted the correction and tried again, but still no luck. Any suggestions?
