Update. I spoke to FS's John Carson yesterday. He said no one else has reported this typing echo problem and thought the way I solved it shouldn't have been necessary. I've since done a JAWS repair, but because I'd already fixed the typing echo problem in a roundabout way, I have no way of knowing if it would have gone differently after the repair. Meanwhile, my JAWS dictionary is functioning again. The solution appears to have been to keep it in the shared settings folder (also known as ENU) and delete it from personal settings.

The changes have stuck, which I confirmed by rebooting. > -----Original Message----- > From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Adrian Spratt > Sent: Friday, June 17, 2016 7:58 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [JAWS-Users] Word/character echo > > Hi.
