manufactures are different in what things show up on your computer. I am
sure many smarter members on here can give you a better answer.

Here is another tip to organize what you see when tabbing across from your
Desktop.
1. From your Desktop, Tab to the Notification Chevron button, or just press
Windows key+B, do not press enter.
2. Press the Application key.
3. Go down to, Hide the Task View, press Enter to check and close.
Any time you want to open the Task View just press, Windows key+Tab.
This will take the Task view out of the way, when you are tabbing across
your computer from the Desktop.
Another way to explain how to do this is below:
**Making your W-10 desktop look like W-7.
1. After pressing the application key while having the
notification chevron button highlighted.
2. Down arrow to, show task view button checked, press enter to
uncheck and close it.
3. The task view button will be removed from tabbing from your
desktop.
4. Again press the applications key while the notification
chevron button is highlighted.
5. Go down to search sub menu, press right arrow one time.
6. Arrow down to, show search box checkbox checked, press enter
to uncheck and close this window.
7. Again highlight the notification chevron button, press the
applications key.
8. Go down to search sub menu, press the right arrow key.
9. Arrow down to, hidden, press the enter key to check this item
and close the menu.
If the above steps are done correctly, when you tab from your desktop, you
should only hear:
Start button, taskbar, notification chevron button, show desktop button, and
back to your active desktop.
For example: When Tabbing from left to right from my Desktop, this is What I
hear:
Start button, Taskbar, Notification Chevron button, Show desktop button,
back to my Desktop.
I have removed the other two default items from tabbing across, the Task
view and the extra Search.
This makes for a cleaner experience, when Tabbing to the Desktop and Taskbar
and Notification Chevron button on our, W-10 computers.

****Tip for navigating the W-10 desktop:
1. Pressing the Windows key, will open the Start button search edit field.
2. Pressing the Windows key+M or D, will take you to the desktop.
3. Pressing the Windows key+T, will take you to the first item on the
Taskbar.
4. Pressing Windows key+B, will take you to the notification Chevron button.
5. Pressing Windows key+a, will open the new notification area in W-10.
