3Wayne, I noticed you didn't get a reply to your first post of this message. A quick review didn't give me a direct answer, but I wonder if selecting plain text format might achieve the result you want. It would mean losing HTML formatting, but I assume at least you wouldn't encounter tables.
In my case, when I receive email in table form, which (like you) I can't read with JAWS, I select all with control-a, copy with control-c and paste into Notepad with control-x. This typically eliminates the tables while keeping the text intact. When I close a message that is a table and go into the File menu and select the memo style and hit ok then I close Outlook and re-open it and the same email will open in the memo style.
