Mike, the options you suggested have no effect on the announcement of
cells in Excel. I did find out on a cell, if I press control+alt+numpad
5, JAWS announces the coordinate followed by it's contents. but I want
JAWS to automatically announce this way as I move to different cells.

Hi Mario,
Try the following:
1. With Excel open open the Settings Center, Insert + 6, on the number row.
2. Arrow down to, Text Processing, right arrow to open, down arrow to,
General, & right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to the following, & tab 1 time on each of the below
options to
get an explanation of each:
Say Item State 1st, This is checked by default.
Say Windows Type 1st
Say Window State 1st
I haven't played with these settings, but I think this might be where you
make the settings changes you're looking for.
Take care.
Mike

using Excel 2010 and JAWS 16, is there a way to have the coordinates
spoken before the contents?
e.g. c2, blank, instead of blank, c2.
I've tried looking thru the quick settings, and in the Reading Options,
there is Cell Verbosity but the only choices are either Content +
Coordinates or Content Only. funny thing, 1 of 6 is announced after
pressing space bar to toggle between the two.
