I use Cisco WebEx Meeting Center regularly for conference calls. I usually turn speech off and work entirely from the braille display. This also has the advantage that I am listening only to the conference call, and my auditory attention isn't divided. It's also good practice to turn on the mute feature when not speaking, in order to prevent background noise from being transmitted to other participants.
